Hi MPVA Orchestra Families.

Helpful overview of info we covered at our first Orchestra Parent Meeting is included below. If you weren't able to make it, we hope to see you at the next meeting on October 21st in the Orchestra Room. Thanks to the parents who volunteered to help out. I'm hoping to touch base with everyone this week.

Sinfonia (1st period) Orchestra Families. Information about the Midwest Trip should be reaching you via Parent Square (Mr. Maynard), Email (Carolyn Bautista), or on the Midwest Hub on our Orchestra Website. You must be signed in to the website and have your student registered in sinfonia to view the Hub. If you aren't receiving communication, please reach out to Carolyn at treasurer@mpvaorchestra.org.

I hope you always feel welcome to reach out when needed. If I haven't had the chance to meet you yet, I hope to soon at concerts, open house, parent meetings, or events.

SEPTEMBER 8th: Grade Level Merch Sale on Bonfire Ends

SEPTEMBER 20th: Last day to sign up to host an Orchestra Social

SEPTEMBER 30th, 8pm: Annual Fees due for Orchestra Shirt Orders

OCTOBER 5th: Deadline for Ads for the Fall Concert Program

OCTOBER 15th, 6pm: Fall Concert, Sinfonia, Philharmonic, & Lyrica Performing

OCTOBER 21st, 6pm: Orchestra Parent Meeting

Annual Program Fees & Shirt Orders

So far we have collected fees for 50 Orchestra students, with about 100 to go. We need to get to 75 to order our Orchestra Shirts, and want to get there by the end of September. Every student who has paid their fees, has started a payment plan, or has been granted a scholarship, will have a shirt ordered in their size at the end of Sept. Orchestra Gear in Grade Level Colors

We have a Bonfire Campaign with a special MPVA Orchestra logo running until September 8th. Shirts, sweatshirts, and Hoodies available in Gray, Purple, & Black. To browse items in adult and youth sizes, CLICK HERE.

Concert Program Ads

Get those ads in by September 20th to get the most bang for your buck! Pay once and be featured in every regular Concert Program. Businesses and 8th grade Sinfonia musicians get the Concerto Concert Program added on. To get more info and fill out the form CLICK HERE

Orchestra Fundraising Socials

This fall we're going to give Orchestra Socials a try. We are currently looking for hosts! A social is a great way to raise funds and get to know other people in our orchestra community. A social can be any kind of event that can be done in a small or large group. A game night, a workshop, a crafting event, a wine tasting, a pool party, a fitness class, a private concert, etc. The host decides the details, the event can be for kids, adults, or families. We are working to put as much info as possible on the ORCHESTRA WEBSITE. While some info will be visible to all, other info is only visible for users who are logged in. You can use an existing Membership Toolkit Account to register. Make sure and add your students t-shirt size to their info.
