MPVA Orchestra Parents Association
The MPVA Orchestra Parents Assn (MPVA OPA) is committed to enriching every orchestra student's musical education and middle school experience. Our organization supports the entire MPVA Orchestra Program, currently made up of Advanced Chamber, Beginning Strings, Beginning Orchestra, Lyrica Orchestra (UIL Sub Non-Varsity), Philharmonic Orchestra (UIL Non-Varsity), and Sinfonia Orchestra (UIL Varsity).
MPVA Orchestra students come from families of all shapes, sizes, and backgrounds. Through the OPA we work together to help fund our one of a kind program. We strive to be a welcoming and collaborative organization, supporting the MPVA Orchestra program, our students, and the entire MPVA Middle School community.

The Stated Purpose of the Meyerland Orchestra Parents Association is to:
1. Promote interest in and support of the MPVA orchestra program through the organization and facilitation of fund-raising and community events.
2. Assist the orchestra Director in activities of the orchestra program where assistance is required in realizing the objectives of the orchestra program.
